Bluebell Woods

Our (not so little) son needs to be kept busy. A delightful mix of neurological disorders means he just doesn't like to be either still or quiet.

He loves transport, cities with tall buildings and all kinds of activities that leave me wanting nature and peace. "I'm NOT going on a country walk" is one of his usual responses.

Today I decided that we were going to see the bluebell woods even if we only saw them from a carpark. Then nature worked it's magic. The birds sang, the sun shone and my boy walked a mile in my shoes. Literally. Well it was a mile in his own shoes. Mine wouldn't fit his feet anymore.

He loved it.
