Blackbird Singing

Outdoor day today around the garden.

The big job was the annual washing the Silver Birch, which is getting quite a demanding activity and takes longer and longer each year.  All the green has gone and It is gleaming now.  It might well be a blip tomorrow or the day after!

Then some time in the back garden with a coffee (and later some wine) soaking up the sun, while above us this blackbird sang his heart out.  It was so clear and vivid and he isn't at all fazed by us being around.
