Daffodil Thalia

We have several clumps of these Thalia daffodils in the garden at the moment and I really enjoy seeing their clean lines and nodding heads.  I thought I'd photograph one inside as the light had gone flat and it was just starting to rain.  I also tried some dried drones from the pond but wasn't very happy - back to the drawing board with them.

My good news from last nights Camera Club awards evening was that I gained the Photographer of the Year Shield for the second year running.  I didn't  bring home any certificates for first in the four print competitions,  but a tally of good scores for my prints added up to an overall win plus two gold medals.  Tired today!
