Waving Goodbye

We all had a much-needed lie in today! Thank God for two day weekends!

I was sitting on the sofa doing yesterday's blip when someone knocked on the door. You couldn't believe it, but it was a Syrian man, with very little English, enquiring about my Volvo!! He has a car a year younger, and has spare parts and is even selling his car! It was great G was around to do lots of translating.

We had a last meal with Hilde - a takeaway from our local Lebanese which was good, and then we headed over to Deira to drop her off to catch the Muscat bus! It was full, and Hilde popped her head around to give us a final wave.

The Volvo needed to go through the car wash as I foolishly parked it under a tree last night and the birds have left their mark. Ugh.
