Baby's first books

...I might not expect him to be able to read them straight away :) I love the Janet and Allan Ahlberg books. I can't wait to get more- when Bump finally has a book shelf, that is.

Today was a long one but productive. I have a week until my Maternity cover starts and I've not yet managed to get enough of my day job done to start the handover plans. We have a 5 weeks together though, so I'm sure we'll have time.

Had a weird moment on the train home earlier. I squeezed myself in the middle seat between two annoyed commuters only to get intense backache that didn't ease no matter how straight I sat against the seat. I must've driven them crazy wiggling around. It only felt a little better when I stood up.

I made Robin walk 2mph with me back home as my stomach was really tight. The Braxton Hicks usually start at around 7ish but the backache was a new, unwelcome addition . It struck in bed the other night too and I was dreaming I was going into labour. Eep.
