Coast to Coast Day 2

Day 2 of the Club Triumph Coast to Coast Run.

We had stopped for the 'usual sustenance' at Tibshelf Services and made our way along various A and B roads across England and around the Norfolk Coast.  We dropped in to my Dad's house in Overstrand at 5.15am and he and Margot treated us to a well earned coffee before we made the finish at 7.00am in Southwold, about an hour early!

We left before the cooked breakfast and headed home, stopping for more of the 'usual sustenance' on the way.  Jason was dropped off at Watford Station and Reg and I made it back to Gloucester at about midday, after completing a 1,000 mile round trip.

In other news Mollie ran and completed the London Marathon today.  She won place via the ballot last year but couldn't take part as she was injured.  She announced on Thursday that it was too good a chance to miss and she may never get another chance, so went for it.  Amy & Oliver cheered her on from a couple of locations and met a very, very exhausted Mollie at the end.  What an effort, what a star, we are sooo proud of her!!
