Doing a BOLT

Up this morning and packed the camper away. Headed over to Balmoral with the others for the 15 mile trail race. Weather was cooler than yesterday which was better. Nice run but there was 300m of climbing and a hard short climb at the 12 mile mark, which wasn’t fun. Still finished in 2:28:01 so happy with that. J and Kilda had a nice walk around the grounds but weren’t allowed in the distillery shop as they served food in there. That old excuse. Kilda got spooked b the forest and wouldn’t go in for some reason. J and Kilda were at the finish to meet me and Kilda went nuts to the amusement of everyone around. Finish line looked good and even managed to do a BOLT afterwards. One of the others van had a flat battery so got the new jump leads out for their first outing and got that sorted. Phoned Dad to wish him happy birthday. Seems he has to go back into hospital this summer to have a new heart valve installed, as the repair hasn’t worked. Came home and had a bath.
