Checking out the Retirement Gift

Finally! 1st day out on the brand new bike. So happy we are not in the middle of an ice storm like last weekend. It felt like -10 last weekend and now we are 18 degrees, big difference. My sweetie rowed early today, then home for a long videoconference chat with our youngest in Australia. It was 2 am his time and he had his 1st hockey game yesterday. They won in a shoot out. It was tied 3 all and he had all 3 assists. Unfortunately he took a nasty/dirty hit and should have had stitches under his chin and may need xrays on his elbow, but they doubt it - hopefully they are right. We went for a quick try-out ride on the new bike (pictured) then i slipped off for a pedicure. We both did 2 Barre classes after dinner, 1 being the old version, which i am teaching in the morning, as well as trying the new version, which we are rolling out next week. This new one will be tough to learn all 9 blocks/songs. Luckily this week is a roll-out launch so only 4 blocks will be done. Whew.... Quiet night at home, which is nice after our fun evening out last night with our Argentinean friends.
