Imperial war museum. Humbled by the holocaust section but very interesting to see a Spitfire and Harrier suspended from the ceiling. There was a doodlebug, my mum’s most feared bomb as she was a child in the war in Darwen and one of these landed in Oldham killing 27, as it ran out of fuel when it was headed for Manchester. There was a lovely old veteran chap there happy to share his personal war photo album with anyone. Even folk speaking in German were there - don’t mention the war springs to mind!
Lots of exhibits crammed into the museum. Well worth a visit and free entrance too
