Half A Mixed Doubles Winner

I was up and about early to hang out even more washing!  It had rained overnight, but the day looked promising.  I have literally been washing anything lying around to make good use of the good weather to get it all dried.

BB had to get ready for his badminton tournament, as did I for day 2!  We were hoping for a slightly shorter day than planned, as like the secondary tournament yesterday there were fewer entries than usual.  Like yesterday we had a few no shows, then we had a couple turn up over an hour and a half later, after we had already re-jigged all the playlists.  Stress levels were high amongst us two organisers, but we made it through the day and it all went to plan in the end.

BB played well and was delighted to win the mixed doubles competition with his partner L, whom he was randomly paired with this morning, and had probably said no more than a few words to ever!  BB was also delighted as his friends also did really well.  The children all seemed to enjoy it, which is good.  D and I can relax and bask in the glory, and start planning for next year!

Having sat in a windowless sports hall all day, when I got home  I went for a wee walk to de-stress!  We’ve all had a quiet evening.  Monday morning will be here all too soon.  My weekend has been busy!
