Playing catch up.

It's surprising what a few days of warm temperatures will do after what seems like months of rain. On our return from Cornwall we were astonished to see the plant growth which had taken place during our absence. At least 3 varieties of Clematis are flowering strongly including a white Avalanche ( bottom right ) which lost most of its foliage to the bitter winds of a few weeks ago. A day spent weeding and tidying, but only scratching the surface with much to do.
