The Old Skating Rink

G and I went on a photo trip today in Norwich to The Old Skating Rink which houses a shop selling decorative furnishings from South Asia and a museum of objects from the same area. Whilst G loved the soft furnishings, I loved the wonderful roof (see extra) and the wooden carvings. Such an unusual place and I'm not sure I'd have come across it without the camera club trip. The history of the building also fascinated me as it was built in Victorian times as a skating rink, but only lasted as such for 8 months!!!
