testament of youth

i couldn't decide whether to post a pic of my dad or my granddad.  both of them fought for their country and for the freedom of others.....but Radish said this picture was best because of the dog.....

dad was the most peaceable of men, but he joined up as a boy because it was his duty.  his war left lasting scars, both physical and mental.
