Fizz

A series of meetings first thing then out to Vet School to sit through a formal meeting as an observer. A couple of interesting conversations around the edges of it, then home to finish tonight’s book group book (‘So Long, See You Tomorrow’ by William Maxwell). We all enjoyed it, although I was mightily relieved to hear I wasn’t the only one who got a bit confused about who was who given the many different perspectives of the narrator, the various families - and the (rather fabulously imagined) dog!
We powered through lots of chat, about the book, illnesses and various treatments, our Madrid trip, gender pay gaps and various jobs and degrees. Another good evening, then home to prep for tomorrow
