A pub lunch

St George's Day and George's actual birthday. He went to nursery armed with a small cake to share and happy to be with his friends again. Gill and Graham came for the day, also Lucy with her two babies. We had planned to visit a little WWT reserve but by the time we got there it was getting towards lunch time as is the way when you have several babies in tow. We managed to have a little look around and then headed to the Wheatsheaf at Lower Woodford for lunch. A very good menu and we enjoyed our lunch before heading back to give George his birthday present, a farm set. He was delighted with it and played until bedtime, but I think he was ready for another early night.
It was lovely to see Gill and Graham again, we probably won't be together again until September which is a long time!
