Saturday Sorties

Four barnstorming sorties this afternoon in almost perfect flying conditions. I trained up some of the pilots on limbo pole holding. One observed that the ground crew must be bonkers! True.

A lovely morning with Mum for her birthday enjoying the warm weather as we sat with coffee on the patio. Mum loved her presents especially a home made velvet cushion cover created by the talented Jules. A bittersweet day for us as it’s the anniversary of my aunt’s passing.

I endured an epic traffic jam enroute to the airfield and cooked in my MX-5 with the roof down. Thankfully I had the sense to wear a hat and sunscreen.

Looking forward to more sunny days this spring with less traffic jams - I hope!
