The Many Aventures of Minny Blipper

He saw.... straight into Marie's studio which seemed to be filled with light.  He was almost blinded.  Marie was saying, I just love Mondrian, don't you.  Mondri-who, Minny thought, but managed to stammer, yeeees, he's a killer that's for sure - not having a clue what she was talking about.

The studio had an swing back roof, so that Marie had the best light for her work.  Geez, thought Minny, I hope she doesn't get a flock of pigeons flying over - might cause a bit of a mess.

Luckily he managed to keep all these thoughts to himself, as he struggled to find something positiive to say about Marie's paintings.

Instead he decided to change the subject, and plucking up every ounce or gram of courage in his heart he said, hey Marie, I don't suppose you'd fancy coming to the pictures with me, would ya?  Oh Minny, breathed Marie, I thought you'd never ask.  When shall we go?

Cripes, thought Minny, she wants to go out on a date!!

Marie continued, but Minny, I'd have to insist on paying for myself.  Which brought Minny down to earth with a thump.  Where would he get the money to pay for his own ticket?  He'd have to ask Monsieur le Chef for a loan, that's what he'd do.

On his way down stairs, he glanced over the railings, and saw...........
