Palm Tree Trunk

Looking for an image that inspired me and would perhaps unlock some long-forgotten creativity?!?! The designs in the bark are interesting to me- currently assisting an older friend by advising on accommodation options at this time, so how things age and change is uppermost in my mind - it seems that things in nature just do it, but we think too much and assume we can plan how it will happen. Storms in USA at present only confirm we can't outwit Nature.
