Waiting for the Bus!

Noticed this abandoned bike whilst out on my travels today!  Strange, thought I:)  It was still there when I was returning a couple of hours later, so I decided it could be my blip for the day.  What story lies behind it?  Maybe the rider got tired and decided to catch a bus for the remainder of her journey!  This is not an unusual event it seems  - I found an even stranger Bus Stop event by consulting Google".  You never know what lies around the corner:-)
