Woodland View

Over in Ayrshire today with Johnathan meeting the mental health team at Woodland View Hospital, which in the grounds of Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine. Great meeting, and always good to meet the people who do the hard work.

Woodland View is a new acute mental health facility and community hospital at Ayrshire Central Hospital. The development is a 206-bedroom integrated mental health facility and community hospital which brings together a full range of outpatient and inpatient facilities.

The hospital was formally opened by Maureen Watt, the Minister for Mental Health in the Scottish Government last September.

It is great to see new mental health facilities like this.
