Mandarin duck

After a while we walked to the park again this afternoon.
Amazing to see how nature has changed in a couple of weeks, beautiful new greens and a lot of flowers in bloom.
We also saw moorhens with their little ones and of course the beautiful Mandarin duck.
So this picture won today, it's always a joy to see the beautiful colours.
Unfortunately he looks always somewhat lonely without a mate.
