To the Summit

.... of Diablerets Mountain was tough today because it was so hot and there was no escaping the glare from the snow. Glad to have finally got there this winter of injuries though. It is rather like a pilgrimage, as you have such an amazing 360 degree panorama of so many peaks climbed over the years. The first bonus was the excellent spring snow on the way down, and the second bonus was the delicious coffee and pie in the hut! Thanks H and G for a great day out.

The Marmots will be delighted with your lovely responses to their "coming out" photos after hibernation if I see them again!
