Paint and Possibilities

No, not a previously undiscovered Jane Austen title, but potentially the beginnings of an acrylic painting - the first I've done for years! Like this one it's been on my brain's back burner for some time and this rainy day I decided to take the plunge.

So far, I've only laid down the background colour. The subject matter is very different - and nothing I've ever tackled before. I don't know how successful I shall be, but I did enjoy mixing black, ultramarine and green and slapping it across the canvas today. Can't do more until that layer's thoroughly dry.
