Anne's Daily Encounters

By dutchdelight

A near eascape

Had to attend the funeral of my sister's SIL (ofcourse we're sad death called her away but we're glad it did just before the pains of cancer got unbearable). Anyway I got close to the bulbfields again and stopped there once more.

As the days of flowering tulip fields roll on, so does the work in those fields what means that the flowers are beheaded in order to harvest the bulbs later on for sales to us.
In one of the lines between the flowerbeds I spotted this little tulip who escaped from the machine's knifes coz it holds its head low!
It's as if it looks in awe on to a battlefield... apologies for my bleak view of today
