ANZAC DAY.

There are 140 Australian and New Zealand soldiers buried at Durrington Cemetry, close to Larkhill Camp. Many died from influenza during the severe winter of 14/15.
Just picked one out at random, John Patrick O`Neale, 39th Batt Australian Infantry. Born in Melbourne, lived with his parents James and Clara at Berrimore in NSW. He died on 6/2/17, aged 21.
His parents had inscribed on his gravestone. "We long for one We loved so well, and the smile of a lad that is gone."
