A SPECIAL ANZAC DAY.....

... much has been written about the 100th anniversary of the World War 1 battles at Gallipoli and today marks the 100th year since Villers-Bretonneux in Northern France.
The TV coverage gave some amazing info and my collage here has some pics from the ABC coverage.

The day also holds many thoughts for Mrs Beckett as her Great Uncle Herb who I covered in my Back When series was involved in the earlier Gallipoli battle.
