International Guide Dog Day

Today is International Guide Dog Day.

Back in January when we lost our Sasha I decided to commemorate her in some way other than our memories and photographs, so I decided to sponsor a guide dog. You can see his photo here. Cute little beggar.

Now I'm not in the habit of asking people for money for any cause, but, for once, I'm asking you to think about sponsoring a guide dog. It's not expensive, you can sponsor a pup for less than a fiver a month. 

I can't imagine what it is like to loose your sight, I know I would be devastated, so much I couldn't do. But by sponsoring a pup I'm helping to give a blind person some independence.
