Amongst the Thistle Down
A beautiful day today, 10km run this morning over a lumpy course and lunch in Geraldine. Today is ANZAC Day and in our communities there are white crosses with the names of the Fallen on them, to see these brings home the reality of War and how our small population lost so many. Before leaving Geraldine we spent a quiet moment looking at the crosses I liked how this piece of grass stood tall amongst the Thistle Down just as our Troops did as the went off to War.
