Young Ones!

Maw and Paw Broon, Coalburn South Lanarkshire Circa 1959 BM (Before Me)

Every evening at 6pm I call the Wee Maw and Paw Broon just to check up on them and to make sure they’ve not got themselves into any trouble…………….again!

The other evening Wee Maw started off on an somewhat different tact;
 
“Well, I’ll be 81 come my birthday in September and your dad will be 83 on his and this afternoon we did something we’ve never done before!” 

Silence..........................................................................! 

"We phoned in a chippie tea!”
