Hoping To Catch The Bulbs In All Their Glory

Exciting news this morning as the people who came to see Milo yesterday have decided that they want to buy him and have already collected him. We have had a message to say he is happily settled in his new home.

It’s not been very straightforward as he was sold a few weeks ago but when the vet came to do the standard pre-purchase checks he picked up that Milo had a mild heart murmur. This is not uncommon in horses but put off the buyer and they pulled out. The vet believes that it won’t inhibit his potential career as a dressage horse but it has dropped his value. So we have had to readvertise him at a lower price and with full disclosure. It has been a bit of a worrying time as I didn’t want to lose China so have had the commitment of two horses for the last month. It is such a relief and I really like the ladies who have bought him, I think they will provide a great home for him and I can concentrate my time and effort with enjoying China.

An early garden blip from the herb bed at home this morning as this evening I have travelled to The Netherlands for two days training (Wednesday/Thursday) followed by two days (Friday/Saturday) being a tourist....hoping to catch the bulbs in all their glory.
