Hurricane Sandy damage

This is 15 houses from my house, totally insane. We took a walk around our neighborhood this morning. Took lots of pictures but this one was the one. The only damage to our place was a broken mailbox and a lost tree limb in our backyard. Last night the wind gust were as high as 75 mph. It seemed to be more of a wind event than a rain event. As I was laying in bed last night the skies look like a war zone with blue and green lights flashing because of blown transformers. Most of our neighbors lost power but we didn't. The Jersey shore took a direct hit. We live in Philadelphia about two hours from Jersey and were in Sandy's path. I have never been in such arms way of a storm. Trees are down everywhere. Emergency sirens have been the sound outside all morning. All said and done, we came out of this ok. We were blessed!
