Going down, staying up

I know that I lose fifty percent of my regular readership when I talk football, but this is a special occasion.

How Sunderland have contrived to turn around a position where they mocked us relentlessly for being relegated to the Championship to being relegated twice in succession themselves is unfathomable.

And not just that, but probably finishing a miserable last both times, so you wonder if they still have further to fall? Unbelievable.

As the picture says, surely it is ‘shrouded in mystery ‘.
