Evening glow

The car went for a service today. There is always a worry that they might find something wrong. In this instance they didn’t and it was free as the car is still under warranty.

At the end of the day HtP came round to walk the dogs with me. He had brought me a beautiful hellebore from one of his customers gardens. She had sadly passed away and he had had permission to remove the plant from her garden before the house is sold.

As we walked back to the house the sun was going down and the tree was glowing.

It’s rained a lot today so I still can’t put the fertiliser on the lawn. David always used to do it so I’m continuing his good work. He is much missed.

It’s hard continuing some days but life goes on.
