getting to Tofino is about equal to getting to London I think. you drive north to the border, about 2.5 hours; in this case you pick the wrong line and are locked in while all the personnel seem to have gone on lunch break so all other lines move and yours does not, but then they whisk you thru without ever looking to see if you have illegal fruits and vegetables hidden, which yes we did, because they feel guilty; and then you drive to the ferry to wait; and then the ferry crossing is two hours and you wait to get off the ferry ---and you still have a good 5 hours of driving left. I swear we could have flown to London, but of course we did not have to go thru TIA or fly in a cramped plane. But of course I would have been able to have a blip meet.
However, it is a gorgeous corner of the world. tomorrow we will be there, this was dinner as the driver (me) is not up for all of that in one day.
