Hot cross buns?

James Bond. Get there!! An excellent movie, very well made, clever, slyly funny, good characters and Daniel Craig is just perfect - craggy, dangerous, charismatic. Lots of explosions for the boys (but not too many); lots of complex relationships for the girls (but not too many) (am I being sexist??) and lots of clever references to previous Bonds. Javier Badem as the baddy is uber sinister, especiallywith that mop of blond hair. My new favourite actor though is Ben Wishaw, so different each time you see him.

Off to the cinema again tonight ! Arthouse is a Spanish film, it sounds complicated and multi-layered but stars Gael Carcia Bernal who is always very watchable. Will report back.

Thinking of everyone on the east coat sof the USA , the situation sounds desperate and frightening. I was sad to hear that the replica of the Bounty had sunk - blipped here in Cork last year. All crew apart from the captain were rescued.

Today's blip - some odd fungi spotted as we yomped around the circuit, dodging the showers. They reminded me of hot cross buns or mini rosettes.
