Walk in the woods.

Two weeks ago I would never have thought the bluebells would be in flower today.
However, today as we walked through the woods they were about halfway there.

It was a recce for our walk, a week on Sunday, when we lead the walking group on our Bluebell Walk.

Not a good start as the road by the wood, where we park,was blocked off because of some new fencing being erected.
I did ask the workmen how long it would take, and they said they would be finished at the beginning of next week. What a relief!

We were lucky with the weather, as although a cool wind, we didn’t have any rain.
Quite muddy though,which we expected, and just managed to walk across the top of the waterfall. A bit tricky as all the stones were covered.

Must say that although not a long walk it is quite a demanding one.
Certainly glad when the end was in sight.

Fingers crossed for good weather next time.
