Pond Dipping

What weather ... can hardly be described as sunshine and showers ... more like sunny spells and torrential downpours.

My walk through the park with the dogs started off well .... dry and chilly. There are two coots nesting in the centre of the large pond, the swan is nesting on the island in the small pond ... not sure about the ducks and the moorhens.

Just as we were walking towards the church the heavens opened and by the time we got in for our coffee and doggie treats we were soaked through. We managed our walk home without a further drenching.
