Keukenhof

Today we took a visit to Keukenhof Tulip Gardens in Lisse. This was on our definite list of things to do whilst we are here and since they are only open for several weeks, we decided to go today as we have both found jobs - I start tomorrow and T starts on Monday, so it was now or never.  I was not sure what to expect.  Tulips are one of my favourite flowers and to see all the different colours and varieties - it was just out of this world - I really loved it and you could really spend the whole day there.  

Here is some information about the site:
In Keukenhof, over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. 
Besides the spacious 32 hectares of flowers you can enjoy the spectacular flower shows, surprising inspirational gardens, unique art and wonderful events.  Keukenhof is also fun for the children. There is the treasure hunt, petting farm, maze and the playground.
Keukenhof will be open from 22 March - 13 May 2018.
