Looking west

Back in the early Spring of 2011 we went to our favourite gallery in Mijas where we could see photographs taken in Africa and India by local artist Jesus Jaime Mota. We actually met him and I took his photograph, not knowing that within two months he would be dead from a heart attack at the age of 46.

We always return to the gallery and today had the pleasure of meeting his son Alejandro who has taken over the reigns of the business and is himself an accomplished photographer. I forgot to ask if I could take his picture, so need to go back.

Our friends have now arrived from Newcastle and the sun’s gone in.
