Another full on day!

Torrential rain greeted us this morning, so we dashed to the underground to go a couple of stops to avoid the worst of it. Then up to the Reichstag to visit the dome.  Really good.  Then walked down Unter Den Linden to the Victory Column, and decided it was worth 3 euros to go inside.  Well worth it, but wow, what a climb 67 metres and 270 steps.  Not a happy bunny with the open mesh at the top - stayed firmly away from the edge!   Walked back to the Brandenburg gate via the Soviet War Memorial when the heavens opened again, so we had to shelter under the gate.  Then wandered back to our hotel area via the Humboldt University area - lovely buildings.  We also fell into an Irish pub for our sins!  Glorious sunshine again now - good sign for our last evening here.  Extras of some of the other areas visited.
