Life through the lens...

Simples!

Mum and baby meerkat at Thorp Perrow Arboretum.

Half term and a day out with granddaughters .
Everyone else had the same idea! But although the carpark was nearly full, the place itself didn't seem too busy. With 100 acres to go at, people are well spaced out!
The girls and I did the Halloween Trail. (Lost grandad, for a while, and then I lost the girls while looking for grandad! Fortunately soon found sat on a seat waiting for me)
Lunch in the cafe. H ordered Yorkshire pudding with sausages and onion gravy, and didn't realise that you get a Yorkshire pudding the size of the plate, with sausage and gravy inside it. She did manage to eat 3/4 (finished off by MrC!) But she left room for a chocolate brownie!!

Then back to the birds of prey demonstration, followed by a look round the Mammal centre, which is where I took this photo.

It was going to be a photo of the wonderful Autumn foliage (The colours fantastic.)
but the girls liked this better, and there have been a lot of Autumn shots lately.

Thanks you two for a lovely day out. We really enjoyed it! xxxx
