YSP Blip Meet

Finally made it to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park today....somewhere Ive wanted to visit for a good while, thanks to the lovely LoveLupins17 for organising a Blip Meet :-)

Drove over the M62 to Wakefield, traffic was rubbish took way longer than it should have, but made it.....even the locals were late because of the traffic!

There were 7 ladies and Jankerman ;-)
We had a marvellous time wandering around, clocked up 17,000+ steps too, that was a bonus :-) I know we hardly touched the sides in terms of covering thr park, but the installations we did see were all really interesting, some random, some thought provoking, others just weird, in a good way.

Lovely to see Lovelupins, 60Plus, Jankerman, Freyad and to meet Kiteseeker and Viewpoint for the first time, as well as a Julie, a friend of Lupes from her camera club.

The blip is obviously e Big Head, by the same artist of "The Cloud" which I also love. In extras you can see the Thread installation in the Chapel together with a "Bridge of Blippers"!

The journey home wasnt too bad considering it overlapped rushhour, got in around 5.45.
Hub god,love him, had made a cottage pie for dinner which was lovely, and now I am running rather late for quizzing, having faffed around with my shots for far too long ;-)
