Chelsea Hospital

Not a hospital, but a home of the old soldiers who volunteered to serve. A trip organised by my local WI took us on a tour of the hospital. Charles II set it up for retired servicemen (not officers) back in the 1670’s. You can only come here if you have no dependants. Whilst mostly men, there are now 15 women living there.
