In the Bow

The first day with the new purple camera! Off we went, mid morning, stopping in L’s to admire the new monster conservatory and sit on the monster sofa. And then onward - 10% off day at Hopetoun Garden Centre and we have need of a pear tree. Why I found myself later planting out a quince tree, I’m not sure.
So, here’s the snap, and that’s young Clive on the extreme right being photobombed in the Bow. We’d met yachting in Greece, as you do, and by jingo he was working up in Edinburgh for the day. So a pint was in order. And then a promenade to the Blue Blazer. Note to self: don’t ever order Bitter & Twisted again if it’s keg. Further Note: if you start early you really should ca'canny.
