Penshurst Place

Can you believe I met L, an old school friend at Penshurst Place and forgot my camera.  What a wasted opportunity. Thank goodness for phones to have at least some record. The gardens are very varied and interesting. The house was used for filming The Other Boleyn Girl and Wolf Hall.  Looking on the bright side we had so much catching up to do, non stop chatting;  it would have been rude to spend my time taking photos. Definitely a place to go on your own or with another blipper. PS, thats a porcupine on the helmet on the top - something to do with the coat of arms.
