Niagara Falls

A lot of water coming down today, after all the rain they've had recently. There was still thick ice at the edges on the south (north-facing) side, and lots of winter birds there. I saw common loons, red-breasted mergansers, buffleheads, long-tailed ducks, horned grebes and a greater scaup. But also plenty of spring migrants there including common terns and rough-winged swallows.
