Heathrow Terminal 5

In transit and setting the theme (sort of) for our brief visit.

Hanna was in seventh heaven when we got off in London and she saw Accessorize. She immediately negotiated purchase of the bracelet (pictured in the middle) containing all sorts of symbols of England.

I was just happy we made it across the world.

I wasn't happy that Heathrow T5 had no free internet access, even though Sydney and Singapore can afford that luxury for their customers. Having that would entertain us and pacify us while waiting for a delayed flight. Instead we ate, drank, looked at designer window displays and checked the departure boards.

Eventually we landed in Newcastle upon Tyne, got picked up and immersed ourselves in Geordieland.
