Newgale, West Wales

Today we headed off to West Wales for a few days. There is something very special about the Pembrokeshire coast, the beautiful scenery, the peace and tranquility and the clear air are second to none in my opinion.

As a kid we came to West Wales often and we had so much fun as we came as a group. My Aunties, Uncles, Grandparents, cousins and of course my family were generally there and we never stopped playing. We didnt need tvs or any type of electronic gadget to fill our day, just an imagination and pretty much a free range to do what we wanted.

One moment i really enjoyed today was when we reached the top of the hill and started to descend towards Newgale beach. That moment was always special to me because as soon as i saw the beach coming into view I knew we were nearly there, in those days it was an epic journey to get here as the M4 was so much shorter and the roads were much narrower, and of course the cars were slower.

The place we are renting is absolutely gorgeous, here is the kitchen diner and the rest of the house is just as nice. All we need now is for it not to rain, lol.

I know we had great times here but i just wish i could remember them all, or even most of them, some would be nice, lol.
