HAKEA - Flower Friday

I drove MrD to the surgeon this morning to have more BCCs removed, this time from around one of his ears.  Ouch.  Poor thing.
Late morning something exciting happened, I went to the golf club and hit the fairways - I played four holes.  So exciting, for me anyway.  
While out on the golf course I photographed the hakea.  These are little balls of delight to the bees, as you can see.
The extra was a little visitor that appeared on the balcony fence last night.  He was difficult to photograph as he kept dancing swaying to and fro.  I thought he was very cute - all 1 inch of him.
