Carpet Cleaner

Firstly, thanks so much for the comments, stars and hearts on yesterdays autumn colours - most unexpected, but very grateful.

Just when you hope for a sunny day, the weather gods has a different plan.  The carpet cleaner came this morning, so we were up and about moving furniture into the kitchen, out on the terraces and in the foyer. 

Tonight the house is in chaos, as we can't put anything back until tomorrow.  We lit the fire (top temperature here was only 12 deg) which has helped and all will be dry by tomorrow morning.

I took a very easy option and clicked off a couple of shots for my blip.  Poor Doug is on the heavy end when moving part of our couch. 

Just made a batch of biscuits, goodness knows why as difficult to get to the oven.

I hear rain now..
